I'm Hayden.
I've spent years building things for other people and teaching people to build things themselves; somewhere along the way the two became the same job. Over the years I've worked with more than 200 businesses and earned over 200 five-star reviews teaching and mentoring. The people I've worked with like that I actually listen, that I'm upfront about budget and timelines, and that I don't sell them more than the problem calls for. In my spare time I also like to solve problems. I experiment with new tools and techniques on my own projects and in rock climbing terms I like to “solve problems” on the wall.
My Experience
2023 – Present
Managed the full project lifecycle for 15+ full-stack products as the sole technical contact, from client discovery to architecture, implementation, and deployment. Built RAG chatbots, computer vision pipelines, analytics dashboards, and integrated internal product suites. Trained client teams to run and extend their own systems. Mentored hundreds of students and professionals. Evaluated frontier and in-training models on complex coding tasks.
