This site is operated by HL Software Solutions (Hayden Lalljie), an independent web design, software, and technical consulting practice. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit or contact through this site, how it is used, and the third-party services involved. It is a general, plain-language summary rather than formal legal advice.
Information collected
The site collects only what is needed to respond to you and to run reliably:
- Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, the details you enter—such as your name, email address, and message—are sent so I can reply.
- Booking requests. Scheduling is handled through Cal.com. When you book a call, the information you provide (name, email, and any notes) is processed by Cal.com to create the appointment.
- Usage analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data (such as pages viewed and general location) may be collected through Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
- Technical logs. Standard server and security logs (such as IP address and browser type) are processed by the hosting and network providers to deliver and protect the site.
How data is used
Information is used to:
- Respond to enquiries and follow up on projects.
- Schedule and manage calls you request.
- Understand and improve how the site performs and is used.
- Keep the site secure and operational.
Your information is not sold, and it is not shared except with the service providers below that make the site work.
Third-party services
A few trusted providers process data on my behalf. Each has its own privacy practices:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security. Processes network and technical data to serve and protect the site.
- Cal.com — scheduling. Processes the details you submit when booking a call.
- Google Analytics — aggregate usage measurement to understand site traffic and improve content.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies and similar technologies, primarily to support analytics and essential functionality. Analytics cookies help measure aggregate usage and are not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may work less smoothly if you do.
Data retention
Contact and booking details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and manage our working relationship, then removed when no longer required. Analytics data is retained in aggregate according to the provider’s defaults.
Your choices
